Our Story

Our business was born out of a shared belief that mental health care should feel more human, accessible, creative, and connected.

As therapists, we saw firsthand how many children, teens, and families struggle to engage in traditional mental health settings. Many clients come into therapy overwhelmed, anxious, ashamed, burned out, or emotionally disconnected. Some have spent years feeling misunderstood by schools, systems, or even previous providers. We realized there was a significant need for therapy that felt safer, more relational, and more adaptable to the unique needs of each individual.

We built our practice around the idea that healing often happens through connection — connection to people, movement, nature, animals, creativity, and community.

Our motivation comes from the clients and families we work with every day as well as from our own experiences being neurodivergent therapists. We have watched clients open up emotionally while walking outdoors with a therapy dog when they could barely speak in an office setting. We have seen overwhelmed parents feel understood for the first time in years. We have worked with teens who felt “difficult” or “unmotivated” everywhere else but responded positively when therapy was adapted to fit who they are instead of forcing them into a rigid model.
